This is the website of Children Can Build (childrencanbuild.com), a concept and vision in development. It is an information site. There are no user accounts and no logins, and the site is not designed for children to use on their own. This notice explains the small amount of personal data the site handles and why.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by Submitandgo Ltd. Messages sent through the contact form are read by Attila Cseko. You can get in touch about privacy using the contact form on the home page.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The contact form is for adults, such as parents, teachers, schools, sponsors and mentors. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or teacher to get in touch for you. If we learn that a child has sent us their personal details, we delete them. Please do not include children's personal details, such as full names, schools or photos, in your message.

What data is collected

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media plugins, and it does not store anything on your device. All fonts and images are served from this website itself, so your browser does not connect to third-party services such as Google when you visit.

Why the data is used

Messages are used only to read and reply to your enquiry (legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch). Server logs are used to keep the site running securely. Your data is never sold or used for marketing.

How long it is kept

Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up conversation, and are deleted when no longer needed. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. To do so, get in touch using the contact form. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
